Workshop 1: Mathematics in Industries  held at UDSM in May 2022

This pioneering workshop brought together 63 participants from academia, government agencies, and industries to explore research collaboration. Institutions included UDSM, TMA, Ifakara, TIRA, TBS, and others.

Workshop 2: Making University Mathematics Relevant to Industry (February 2023)

This international workshop (15–17 Feb 2023) featured participants from UDSM, Makerere University, and the University of Bergen, with involvement from local industries. The focus was on linking mathematics research to industry needs.

Workshop 3: Python for Mathematical Research (August 2023)

Held from 8–11 August 2023, this workshop trained 34 academic staff and postgraduate students on Python for solving equations, plotting graphs, differential equations, and optimization.

Workshop 4: Integrating Mathematics and Data for Decision-Making 

Held from 7–9 August 2024, this international workshop convened researchers and practitioners to explore data-driven approaches for supporting evidence-based decision-making. The workshop brought together participants from Norway, Uganda, Finland, and Tanzania. It was officially opened by Dr. Mussa Mgwatu, Director of Research and Publication at the University of Dar es Salaam.
